I understand what patients mean when they say they feel unheard and dismissed.
I’ve lived with chronic disease and pain for most of my life, often hiding it from friends, family, co-workers, and certainly my patients.
I love what I provided in primary care, but struggled with the time limitations that would allow me to properly support my patients. While there are not always easy answers or clear diagnosis for patients, I still believe in explaining, supporting and ultimately allowing the patients to speak. I want the opportunity to provide a therapeutic relationship with the patient, and ultimately assist in improving their overall quality of life.

What makes me different from other menopause treatment options?
I truly want patients to feel empowered to live life.
Not one thing works for every person. Treatment is active listening and interventions, not just hormonal options.

Pronouns: She/her
I’m a board certified Family Nurse practitioner (FNP-BC) which means I am licensed to care for individuals of any age from birth to geriatrics. I hold a masters degree in nursing (MSN), and have spent over three decades in healthcare. I began as a medical assistant and returned to school for my Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN); continuing on to become a Nurse Manager in maternal/child health and then a Family Nurse Practitioner in primary care for the past nine years.
In the last several years, I focused my time on studying menopause transition more thoroughly and became a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. This means I have passed a certified exam in midlife women’s health. I have a special interest in those with endometriosis and migraine disease. I offer convenient, medical Telehealth in Massachusetts with both hormonal and non-hormonal options. I treat women and those who do not identify as a women, but have symptoms of menopause transition.
